Greening of Southie

By Georges Dyer, Partner, Aedi Group

A new film on green building – The Greening of Southie – about the Macallen Building in South Boston has been released and is showing at the Coolidge Corner Theatre on July 20th (tickets available online).

It promises a compelling story about the process of green building, the union teams who built it, and the new way of thinking about buildings that we need to embrace.

Trailer – The Greening of Southie from Wicked Delicate Films on Vimeo.

The creators are Ian Cheney and Curt Ellis, the producers and starts of King Corn – a funny and insightful look into agribusiness in our country.  Thanks to the Green Roundtable for presenting and promoting the film – we look forward to seeing it on the 20th.
